"This Is Simply Fantastic" Cocobod Chief Declares

The Deputy Chief Executive in charge of Finance and Administration of the Ghana Cocoa Board, Mr. Emmanuel Ray Ankrah, has described the cultural activities marking the end of the Heritage month as fantastic. He was speaking at Cocoa House in Accra ,amidst many and varied traditional dances like Kpanlogo, Kete,Borborbor.Apatampa,Adowa and Gome.
"Look at your traditional dresses, the decorations, the arrangements, the songs and the unity in cultural diversity. This is simply fantastic".
He noted that the massive display of the Ghanaian identity, heritage and culture is something that every Ghanaian should be proud of, adding that Management of the Ghana Cocoa Board will consider making the Heritage month celebration an annual event on its calendar of events.
Mr. Ankrah revealed that the full participation of members of staff at all levels of the one month celebration indicates the respect individual staff have for the dignity of the differences in culture, advising that nobody can build Ghana for Ghanaians, better than themselves.
He applauded the Division and subsidiaries for the camaraderie displayed during the Heritage Month and urged them to pull their resources and work together more than ever before to make Cocobod a better place than it is today.
"We have sometimes been worried about staff of the Board seeing themselves
as separate units, due to the issues of belonging to one Division or another Subsidiary.This time around, we have shown that our diversity is the very source of our strength as an institution.We have done done this together and deserve a round of applause,Let's work together to make Cocobod a better place that we came t meet it",
He encouraged Ghanaians not only to consume cocoa products, but also patronise all made in Ghana goods.
